| Of course, as a long time Klingon fan, Robert O'Reilly,
who plays High Chancellor Gowron (ST:TNG) is one of my favorite actors
and characters! I met him many times between 1993 and 1995 and he partied
with us in the Hotel Rooms. He was a real down-to-Earth type guy who would
interact with his fans. We loved it! The last time I saw him was at a
Convention held at the Hilton in Altamonte Springs, Florida. This was
March 25, 1995, a date I remember well. Not only was this Mr. O'Reilly's
birthday, but our cat, Ozzy, had her babies that day and Barnabus was
born. (Barnabus is my brother's cat. He is now 8 years old and lives with
us here in Cahokia, IL). This was also the day that "Empire Union
Day" was established and is now celebrated Terrestrially on Mach
25th. |
