Who and/or What are we?

The language of Esperanto is a MOVEMENT ("movado") which began in 1887.
The purpose of which is to provide a means of linguistic communication between
people of diverse nationalities and linguistic backgrounds.

Imagine that you do not speak English!
This means you cannot function in most of the the world as it is today.
No trade, no art, and unable to communicate in or about the most simplest things...
THEN think about how hard it is to learn another language

The Purpose
of Esperanto is to provide an AUXILIARY language to everyone, which is
EASY to learn, highly structured with almost no "irregularities"
...a sense of "world community"
...and a network of speakers who share and open their homes to Esperanto speaking
visitors from around the world!
